The Being Bea is an independent publication platform launched in May 2026 by Beatrix Groves-McDaniel. It is where she outputs her long-form papers and articles on topics that take her interest.

Bea was born in 1955, comes from Newcastle upon Tyne, and has spent her working life as an FE/HE teacher and philosopher.

Oh, and she's transgender.
